Custom Watercolor Pet Portraits

Interested in a custom pet portrait?   Lisa is currently accepting new commissions!  Once those slots are filled, commissions will be closed until these pieces are completed.  If there are no spots currently available, please email us if you would like to be added to the waiting list.

What sizes are available?

The size we are currently offering is 9" x 12", on high quality watercolor paper.  

What is the process?

Once you have purchased a custom pet portrait, we will email you to discuss your portrait, and have you send reference photo(s) of your pet.  Feel free to send more than one, and Lisa can help determine which one would work best!  You can also request ideas or colors you'd like for a background, or have Lisa recommend a background that would compliment your pet.   You can also request including a toy, blanket,  or other object that is special to your pet!

Once Lisa has photos to work from, she will do an initial sketch, which will then be emailed to you.   If you are happy with the sketch, she will then get busy painting!   Please allow up to 4 weeks for the painting to be completed.  Once completed, you will receive an email with the final result - then the painting will be on its way to you via priority mail!

Can I have more than one pet in the painting?

Yes!  Each additional animal is $75.   You do not have to worry about your photos having the pets photographed together - Lisa will work from multiple photos to create a pleasing composition.  

Can I commission a pet portrait to be sent to someone else as a gift?

Yes!  We will even include a special gift card, or a condolence card if the portrait is for someone who has had to say goodbye to their special friend.
